What Data Does UNICOPE Process?

We process your personal data within the following categories:

• Profession/Job Title
• Company Registration Number
• Contact Person
• Business Address and Other Customer Addresses
• Contact Details (Phone Number, Fax Number, Email Address, etc.)
• Bank Details, Credit Card Data
• Order Data
• VAT Number
• Customer Service Inquiries

The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Your data will not be shared with third parties except for:

• Sharing credit card data with payment processors to deduct the purchase price.
• Sharing data with shipping companies for delivery purposes.
• Sharing data with our tax advisor to fulfill legal tax obligations.

In case of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiration of the statutory tax retention period (7 years). Beyond that, data such as name, address, purchased goods, and purchase date will be stored until the end of the product liability period (10 years). Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR. You have voluntarily provided us with your data, and we process it based on your consent for the following purposes:

• Customer care and
• Our own marketing purposes, such as sending offers, promotional materials, and newsletters (both in print and electronic form), and for referencing existing or past business relationships.

You may revoke your consent at any time. Revoking your consent will result in us ceasing to process your data for the above purposes. Please contact us at CustomerService@unicope.com to withdraw your consent.  

Processors and Recipients

We process your personal data with the assistance of data processors who support us in providing services (e.g., web hosting, email newsletter services). These processors are obligated to strictly protect your personal data and may not use it for purposes other than providing our services. Your personal data will only be shared with typical business service providers such as banks (for transfers to you), tax advisors (if you appear in our accounting), shipping providers (for deliveries to you), etc.

Legal Remedies

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, transfer, and object to your data. For this, please contact us. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection laws or your data protection rights, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, the Data Protection Authority is responsible.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. We require your email address and your consent to receive the newsletter. To provide tailored information, we may also collect and process voluntarily provided data such as interests, address, and postal code. Once you have subscribed, we will send a confirmation email. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by emailing marketing@unicope.com. We will then promptly delete your data related to the newsletter.
