Requirements

The goal was to replace the existing outdated system and modernize the infrastructure. Requirements included:

  • Moving away from an on-premises solution.

 

Additional requirements:

  • TAPI or CTI functionalities
  • Seamless transition between landline and smartphone calls
  • “E-Mail to FAX” function

Project Implementation

The hosted telephone system, mobile landline, was implemented, featuring desk phones from Yealink, mobile apps, and softphone clients for sales, IT, and accounting departments.

In addition to an IVR (Intelligent Voice Response) for the telephone menu, the system utilizes features that enable modern and reliable internal and external communication.

  • Ring groups for group calls (incoming calls are distributed among several members of a group)
  • Departmental voicemail (to ensure a unified corporate identity, a separate voicemail was configured for each department)
  • vFax (a virtual fax replaces bulky analog devices, making fax handling as easy as email)
  • Access control (bells and door openers are also integrated into the telephone system and can be controlled through it)
  • Analog extensions (to save costs, some analog extensions were integrated, reducing the need for additional hardware to selected devices)
